Fito Grass and Fabric Basket

This basket (26cm Diameter, 11cm Height) is masterfully hand-coiled by local artisans using natural indigenous grasses of the highlands of Lesotho, to create a sturdy, organic structure rooted in traditional Basotho craft.
The natural earthy tones of the basket are paired with authentic colourful Seshoeshoe fabrics - the classic 100% cotton dyed cloth beloved across Southern Africa for its distinctive, intricate geometric prints.

A beautiful blend of two distinct Basotho traditions coming together as one.
